Reflection planes

The planes of reflection are the multiple instances of the Being folding upon itself. The Being as Being is always folded upon itself. In other words, the Being is not on one side with a subject, on the other side looking at it and operating a mediation to meet the Being itself. The Being is always already folded – and therefore already mediated. The fundamental characteristic of the Being is to produce a fold, a “reflection” or “plane of reflection” – which we can call mediation. This folding does not occur at a level of our comprehension, but rather before all comprehension.
