Imaginary / reality

Thinking beyond the representational paradigm. The separation between real and imaginary is traditionally based on the possibility of clearly distinguishing between the space of dialogue and the space outside of the dialogue. The imaginary opposes the real, in that it is located inside the dialogue space. Today, the digital sphere blurs these boundaries between imaginary and real, or, even better, it produces an overlap between the two terms, to the point of rendering their distinct characterization nearly irrelevant.
